Privacy

There is one form on this site. Joining the list takes your name and email, and your mobile number if you give one. Nothing else, and nothing is collected anywhere else on the site.

We also record that you ticked the box to be emailed, when you ticked it, the exact wording you were shown, and the network address and browser the form was sent from. That record exists so we can prove we only email people who asked to be emailed, and the last two are the part that ties it to a request rather than to nobody in particular. They are kept with the sign-up, used for nothing else, and never shown to anyone outside the salon.

To stop the form being used to send junk, the server also counts recent submissions from the same sender — five in ten minutes, and then it stops accepting them for a while. What it keeps is the network address scrambled into a code that cannot be turned back into the address: enough to tell that the same sender is trying repeatedly, not enough to say who they are. That count is separate from the sign-up record above, is attached to nothing you typed, and is deleted automatically.

You never make an account here. Nothing on this site asks you to sign up, and nothing you do creates a login or a password.

One thing is stored in your browser, and only one: if you close the email prompt or use it, we remember that so you are not asked again. It is a single yes-or-no with a date on it — no identifier, nothing about who you are or what you looked at, and it never leaves your device. There is nothing else: no session storage, no advertising or analytics storage of any kind.

When you tap Book you leave this site for Bukkii, the salon’s booking system, and anything you enter there is held by them under their own privacy policy.

Buying a gift card works the same way. Tapping Buy a gift card takes you to Square’s own checkout, and the amount, the message you write, who it is sent to and your card details are all entered there and held by Square under their privacy policy. This website never sees any of it and keeps no record that you bought one.

Tapping the phone number dials the salon on your own phone — that call is between you and whoever answers, and this website is not part of it and keeps no record of it.

There is one form, and joining the list is what it does. Your details are kept in the salon’s own database — the same one the website runs on — and emailed to the salon so someone there knows you joined.

Unsubscribing stops the emails and keeps a note that you unsubscribed. That note is the point: without it there is no proof you opted out, and you would end up back on the list the next time it was moved anywhere.

Asking us to delete it is different, and it is a real deletion — the whole record goes, including the address, the phone number if you gave one, and the consent record described above. Only the owner can do it, and nothing is kept behind afterwards.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails for good.
